January 2017 – On November 9th, people asked me how I felt about the election. My answer then is the same as it is today: Resilient.
Today was amazing. Hundreds of thousands of people of all races, genders, religious backgrounds, sexualities, and ages came together to peacefully demonstrate what democracy looks like. This isn’t the end. This is only the beginning. Complacency will not be in our vocabulary.
We will be loud. We will be proud. We will be resilient.
Thanks to everyone who I met yesterday, it was one hell of an experience. I look forward to marching with you again.
