I’m incredibly sad that today is Obama’s last day in office, but I’m incredibly grateful that he was an integral part of my primary and secondary educational years. How lucky we are to have a generation of students empowered by a leader that embodied goodness, hope, and an unstoppable drive to serve as many people that he could.
Friends, do not lose this fire. Let it grow brighter than ever. We’re going to need it for the next four years. Keep moving forward.
